The second option is travelling on the Queen Elizabeth World Voyage, which also sails on the 10th of January 2012, and lasts the same length of time, but does a somewhat different route. For this trip, you’d set sail from Southampton, and cruise to New York, then it’s on to Fort Lauderdale, Grand Cayman, Through the Panama Canal, Puntarenas, Acapulco, Cabo San Lucas, San Francisco, Honolulu, Pago Pago in American Samoa, Port Denarau Fiji, Auckland, Napier and Wellington in New Zealand, then on to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Port Douglas Australia, Kota Kinabalu Malaysia, Hong Kong, Chan May and Phu My in Vietnam, Bangkok, Ko Samui, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Phuket, Colombo, Cochin, Mumbai, Dubai, Muscat, Safaga, Aquaba, Sharm el Sheikh, through the Suez Canal, Alexandria, Piraeus, Civitavecchia in Rome, Monte Carlo, Lisbon and then home to Southampton.
