Well we all pretty much know that there’s a high street shop called Superdrug, but did you know they also have a website that you can shop at as well? The site has a really simple easy to use design, and lets you look for items by brand, by section (beauty, hair, fragrance etc.) or by price. Or alternatively if you know what you’re looking for, you can enter a keyword and add your item that way. Delivery is free when you spend over £35 or if you’re buying less, then standard delivery taking 2-4 days costs £3 and Express delivery (next working day) costs £4.50, this is based on you placing the order before 2pm if you place it after 2pm then it counts as if you ordered the following day. Took me a while to discover the FAQ section on the site – found it eventually by going to the checkout and then there was a list of things like pricing policy, delivery costs and FAQ’s at the side. You can track your orders online when you’ve placed them to see what stage they’re in, by going to your account and clicking on order history. Overall, Superdrug is not a bad site, and their prices are reasonable – pretty much the same sort of prices as you find in their high street stores to be honest. If you’re placing a large order over £35 then definitely worth going online to do it as if you’re not going to be paying postage costs, then you might as well take advantage of someone else delivering the items to your doorstep! About the only issue I have with this site is that it can be a tad hard to find out certain information – for example, without signing up to them, and logging in, you can’t see what payment methods are available to you (MasterCard, visa, delta, switch & maestro) also, when you do sign up, there doesn’t appear to be a way of letting them communicate with you by post or e-mail whilst excluding the phone option which personally I find a little irritating. |
