SVP is a site which sells media software like blank dvds and cd’s, duplicator kits, ink, paper, and other office accessories, batteries, computers, mp3 and mp4 players and their accessories, digital cameras and camcorders, cables and adapters and loads more.

SVP is laid out with a really simple menu down the left side, which lets you hop from one section of the website to another with ease. The items for sale are listed in the centre of the page and on the right are your checkout options, a search facility, and your shopping cart. You can also select a button which will show you all the makes on offer for sale, and you can then use the links there to look at all the products available from a specific brand, this can be quite helpful if you like certain brands for certain products.

Some of the brands sold on SVP aren’t always the most well known but they are still brands that you get good quality from, and they are generally a good bit cheaper than the top named makes too. Don’t get me wrong though, Svp does also sell many top brands like Cannon, Dell, HP and Sony. Actually across the board whether the brand is well known or not, this site has prices which really are down to earth and friendly to your pocket, with DVD +R’s from £4.99 for a spindle of 50 and digital cameras ranging from under £10 for a 2 mega pixel camera that’s compact enough to carry on your keyring up to just over £75 for one that has 8 mega pixels and a 2" display, TV out etc.

SVP.co.uk accepts a wide range of payment options, from delta, maestro, master card, visa and solo, to paypal and google checkout. Multiple delivery options are available, from next day delivery through to your more standard delivery taking several days. SPV also offers the option for you to collect your purchase in person from their trade counter in Paignton in Devon which is open Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. (You still need to make your payment online in the usual way if you’re going to collect your goods however, and you need to allow at least 3 hours from placing the order to going and collecting it to give them time to get your order ready for you. They do have a nice system however which means that when your order has been picked and is ready to be collected, they will send you an e-mail to let you know).

SVP has a buyers club newsletter where they let you know about new stock and special offers that they are running, and it also has customer reviews on many of its items giving you the chance to see what people using the item really think of it’s quality. Overall a good site which is really well laid out and has loads to offer it’s customers, but which can be a tad slow loading on occasion.
