I first encountered freemans when I was a child and my mum had one of their catalogues. Until recently I didn’t realise they’d expanded into the online store market, but like many other catalogues it seems they have indeed done this. Freemans sells a huge variety of different items, from men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, to home & garden wares and even electrical & sports items.

Payment can be by Maestro, MasterCard or Visa. There are two delivery types, standard which is free, and usually arrives within 3-4 working days, and next day delivery which costs £2.99 per delivery regardless of the number of items in the order. Oh, one thing to note is that they won’t offer you next day delivery if it’s your first order for some reason.

The prices on this site aren’t too bad, although to be honest I have to say I’ve found better on a lot of items so it’s worth shopping around, although having said that, when they have a sale on, they do seem to reduce their prices quite a lot at times which can make it very worthwhile keeping an eye on this store, and of course the free standard delivery helps too. The images on the site are fairly clear, and each item when you put the size or colour you want in will tell you immediately if it’s in stock or not which is very useful.

There’s an option on the site to get a catalogue sent to you, and they have a referral system as well, so you can refer a friend to have a catalogue sent to them, and then they get 20% off their first order, and you get a free gift when they place their first order/s of £30 or more. (There are different levels of gift according to how many friends you refer by the looks of it).
